This is gonna be a platform style bike rack that fits really well in this value category where it packs a lot of features in a really accessible price point which makes for a really good middle ground in my opinion. I recommend this to a lot of people because it can work with a lot of different bikes. It can handle 60 pounds per tray. It does attach using this front wheel hook primarily so it's gonna be carbon frame friendly and alternative frame friendly. more

Now it's gonna be a very large, very premium bike rack. It's gonna hold the bike by the tires using this dual wheel mount design. So, that wheel hoop you seal on one side is gonna be repeated on the other meaning that there's zero frame contact with the bike, making it good for carbon frame and alternative frame bikes. more

Hollywood Racks Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2023 Hyundai Palisade- Video
Hi, everyone, Aidan here at etrailer. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at the Hollywood Racks Destination 4-Bike Rack and seeing how it fits on the back of our 2023 Hyundai Palisade. This is gonna be a great bike rack for the family, carrying up to four bikes, 35 pounds each. And one of the nice things about the Destination here is that it works really well with kids' bikes, so it's one that I personally recommend for people looking for a family bike rack all the time. Now, some things to know about how it holds the bikes, we've got two wheel straps on the bottom that hold the bike down and in, that's gonna give it most of its stability. And then the bike is being held upright by our frame cradle here with a strapper on the frame. more

Hollywood Racks Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2023 Hyundai Palisade HLY66ZR- Video
Hi everyone, Aiden here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Hollywood Rack's Destination E-bike rack, and seeing how it fits in the back of our 2023 Hyundai Palisade. This is gonna be an excellent option for carrying your E-bikes because it has a 70 pound capacity per bike, so good for some heavier E-bikes. And one of my favorite things about this is how easy it's to operate, anywhere from the tilting to the included ramp that we'll all see in a bit. I do wanna talk about some of the bikes this we'll work with besides E-bikes because it does have a clamp that holds onto the frame up top here. It's not gonna be the best fit for carbon frame bikes, but because that clamp can move around and rotate 360 degrees, it's gonna work fine for any alternative frame bikes. more

Hi, everyone. Aiden here at the trailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Kuat NV Base Bike Rack, and seeing how it fits on the back of our 2023 Hyundai Palisade. This is gonna be a platform style bike rack, holding the bike on top of the rack and into these cradles and trays by primarily this front wheel hook. We do have a secondary point of contact at the back wheel in the form of a wheel strap that's just gonna keep the back end of the bike down and secured. But mainly it's this front hook that's going to push the bike down and into the front cradle. more

Hi, everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer, and today we have the Kuat Transfer V2 Three-Bike Platform Rack. We'll take a look at how it fits our 2023 Hyundai Palisade. So the Transfer V2 is a popular rack because it is a Kuat Transfer Rack, which many people like for its design as well as stability, but this is gonna be a more entry level, but also with a unique feature where you can make it easier for you to load and unload your bikes. There are some downsides to this rack though especially with the Hyundai Palisade. For example, the Palisade does have a large hatch and the Transfer has a pretty shallow level of tilt away. So if I needed to tilt the bike rack away and I wanted to get into the hatch, notice here that with only one bike loaded, I can put these arms off to the side. more

Saris MHS 2 Bike Rack Review - 2020 Hyundai Palisade- Video
Hi, everyone, Aidan here with etrailer.com, and today, we're gonna be taking a look at the Saris MHS Platform-Style Bike Rack here on our 2020 Hyundai Palisade. Now, the MHS is gonna hold the bike in this tray and by each tire. We have these two arms ratcheted down and holding it pre-firmly in place here. I like this style of holding the bike personally, I think it's easiest to load and unload, and overall, it's a really good design, it's a really strong design. Like other platform-style bike racks in this class, you do have the ability to tilt it away with the bikes loaded. We've got this handle here at the end that we can just grab and pull and let this down. more

Saris Freedom 2 Bike Platform Rack for Fat Bikes Review - 2020 Hyundai Palisade- Video
Hey guys, Kevin with etrailer, and today we'll gonna be taking a look at the Saris Freedom Bike Rack for two Fat Bikes here on our 2020 Hyundai Palisade. This platform bike rack is going to have a frame mount style, so that means it's going to attach to the bike frame, so you wanna make sure that you don't use this with any carbon fiber bikes or anything where you can actually damage the paint on it. And it's gonna have a 60 pound per bike capacity while in use with a Class 3 hitch. So that's with that two inch adjustment on the shank itself. Now if you take that adjuster off of there and you're using this in a Class 1 hitch and the inch and a quarter style opening then you're only gonna be limited to a 35 per bike capacity. What makes this bike rack stand out from the original Saris Freedom is it's gonna include these fat bike wheel cradles which is going to allow you to install a bike just like our Fat Bike right here. more

Saris Freedom Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2020 Hyundai Palisade- Video
Hey guys, Kevin here with etrailer and today we're gonna be taking a look at the Saris Freedom two bike rack here on our 2020 Hyundai Palisade. This platform style bike rack has easily adjustable wheel cradles as well as a frame mounted clamp which is going to allow you to easily fit a multitude of different frame styles as well as different wheel bases. When you're in a class three hitch with the 2" adapter on the shank of your bike rack, you're gonna be able to hold up to 60 pounds per bike in these wheel cradles. So that's gonna allow you to take your e-bike just like we have right here. Now if you remove that adapter and you need to get down to a class one hitch, so that 1 1/4", you're only gonna have a 35 pound per bike capacity. Now with this bike rack, there is quite a bit of space between the actual bike and your vehicle so you don't have to worry about that really banging up against the back of the vehicle. more

Yakima Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2022 Hyundai Palisade- Video
Hi everyone, Aidan here with etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at the Yakima OnRamp on our 2022 Hyundai Palisade. The OnRamp is a platform style bike rack primarily designed to hold e-bikes. It's got a 66 pound weight capacity per bike and it's gonna hold the bike by the frame primarily here. It's a cradle with a strap wrapped around the frame, holding it in place with two wheel straps at the bottom as secondary points of contact. It does hold the bike pretty well in the rack and because it makes frame contact we do wanna avoid carbon frame bikes but these cradles will slide up and down if you loosen it up and rotate 360 degrees so they can accommodate alternative frames pretty well. more

Hi everyone, Aiden here with etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at the Yakima RidgeBack on our 2022 Hyundai Palisade. The RidgeBack is a hanging-style bike rack that holds a bike by the frame. It's up in these cradles with two straps over top of that frame, and a third one around our seat post as our anti-sway cradle. That's gonna limit our side to side movement, not fully eliminating it, but definitely helping reducing bike-to-bike contact, or in some cases, bike-to-vehicle contact. You can see our front wheel does like to move around a bit here, and if it we're to move enough, it might make contact with the vehicle. more

Hi everyone, Abe here with etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at the Swagman E-Spec on our 2022 Hyundai Palisade. This is gonna be a platform style bike rack that holds up to two bikes each in their own wheel cradles and primarily by the frame up here with the use of this frame hook. Frame hook's gonna mean a couple things. We don't wanna put carbon frame up here because it can damage the frame with any sort of frame contact. And because we're using a hook to make frame contact we will need a bike adapter bar for alternative frame bikes because otherwise this hook just can't get a good contact on the bike and hold it securely. more

The XTC is a platform style bike rack holding the bike in these wheel hoops and primarily by our frame up here. It's gonna hold it with a frame hook. Frame hook's important to note because any sort of frame contact, we do wanna avoid carbon frame bikes, but with a frame hook specifically, we will probably need to pick up a bike adapter bar for alternative frame bikes to ensure that the hook gets a good solid contact on the frame and holds the bike well. more

This is going to be a, like I said hanging style rack that holds the bike by the frame here. The Transfer is a platform-style bike rack that holds the bike in these cradles and primarily by our front tire right here. Our wheel hook comes down and holds that pretty firmly in place and that's gonna mean zero frame contact, making it good for carbon frame and alternative frame bikes. Now this version of the bike rack only has a 40-pound weight capacity per bike, so not good for e-bikes, but if you upgrade to the strictly two-inch version, this one can work with inch and a quarter or two inch hitches, but there is a version that is strictly for two inch hitches that has a added weight capacity that's 60 pounds per bike. So if you need that e-bike compatibility and you have a two-inch hitch, I'd go with that one. more

Thule EasyFold XT 2 Electric Bike Rack Review - 2022 Hyundai Palisade- Video
Hey everybody, how's it going Today, we're gonna be going over the Thule EasyFold XT 2-bike rack here on a 2022 Hyundai Palisade. So the EasyFold XT is sort of a unique bike rack. It has some great features that no other bike rack has. Now this bike rack is primarily gonna be used for electric bikes, 'cause it supports a 65 pound per bike weight capacity for each of our two cradles. So one of those other features that make it specific to e-bikes is the integrated loading ramp. Now there's actually a convenient little storage system for your ramp when you're not using it. more

One of the big questions, a lot of people ask and in regards to hitch minor bike racks is are they still gonna be able to get into the back of your SUV And with this one, the answer is, yes it does fold down out of the way. And to do that, there's a couple things we need to do. I'm not super crazy about this setup but I mean, it does work. You'll have this T knob there you loosen that up and then you pull this pin and clip out and then you can pull up on this handle and that's going to allow this to drop down. more

Hi, everyone. Aiden here with etrailer.com and today we're gonna be taking a look at the Yakima HangTight 6-Bike rack here on our 2020 Hyundai Palisade. Now this style of rack is gonna hang the bike by the handle bars down the back. You can see with this, we fit a lot of bikes in here. Your only other options, really as far as carrying this many bikes on your vehicle would be to have a 4-bike rack plus two on the roof, which then requires a roof rack and a lot of lifting to get those bikes up there. While this bike rack does sit pretty high on most vehicles we actually are at a pretty reasonable height here on the Palisade. more

If you are looking for something that can handle your e-bikes, maybe check into the Kuat NV, that has a 60 pound weight capacity per bike, so that could be a good option. more

Now this style bike rack is gonna hold the bike by the back wheel with the strap, and by the front tire with this wheel hook, which means zero frame contact. That's gonna make it good for our carbon frame bikes, our alternative frame bikes, and with a 60-pound weight capacity per bike, even some of our e-bikes with that battery removed. Something else that's nice to point out is that this does have compatibility with our fat tire bikes too. So really an all-around great bike rack that's gonna accommodate a variety of bikes. more

Now, this is going to be a really nice e-bike rack. You're gonna have things like an included ramp so it's easy to get the bike up and down and it's going to have a 70-pound weight capacity per bike so that's really nice to see something a little bit above what might be considered standard at 60 pounds. It is gonna hold the bike really well here and one thing that I think sets this apart from any other e-bike rack out there is how easy it is to tilt the rack away from the vehicle with the bikes loaded. more

Hey everybody, how's it going Today we're gonna be going over the Kuat NV 2.0, here on our 2022 Hyundai Palisade. So this is what the NV 2.0 looks like installed on our vehicle here with one bike attached. And if you ask me, the NV is the best looking bike rack option on the market. Now it's kind of hard to tell on video. But once you get up close and personal with this rack and you actually start looking at it, you'll notice that this thing is a very sharp rack. So this can be an awesome way if you're finding trouble or having trouble I should say, getting your heavy E-bikes onto your carriers. And why I say that, and as the name suggests, we are gonna have a ramp that is gonna assist us of actually getting our bikes onto our carrier. It also is gonna support a 66 pound weight capacity limit, making sure that it's actually built and ready to handle your heavy E-bikes, which is great. Especially if you're comparing this to some of the other carriers on the market, a lot of them are gonna kinda come to a standstill at about 60 pounds per bike. more
